Volunteer on K’gari!

Want to live on the magnificent K’gari (formally Fraser Island) for 4-6 weeks?

We are looking for two fun, friendly and helpful volunteers (each month), to stay at our hostel-style accommodation on K’gari and help out with our tag-along tours. Apply as a pair, or on your own and we’ll pair you up with a fellow traveller. 

YOU GET:

  • Free food (all meals provided – daily breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Accommodation (Dorm room shared between two volunteers, use of staff-only kitchen and bathroom) 
  • A load of fun to meet new people and have an amazing time!
  • FREE TOURS, see the sights of K’gari
  • Downtime with time off to relax

CONDITIONS:

  • 4 to 6 weeks stay
  • Responsibilities are split between two volunteers – around 25 hours of work a week (per person)
  • Must be willing to help with cooking and cleaning duties (experience recommended)
  • Ideal candidates would be organised, with strong communication skills and a good English level
  • Must be 21+
  • Departing from Hervey Bay (Volunteers will need to make their own way here)
  • Keen to be involved and help out
